Editors at the highly respected automotive magazine rave that the all-new Accord "fully delivers on Honda's 'man-maximum, machine-minimum' philosophy" and that "one big fluid loop develops between man and machine." Stellar praise indeed.






2012 Honda Accolades

Each year, Honda Accord is honored to receive a number of automotive awards. Last year, Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds.com honored Accord with their Best Resale Value n the Midsize Car Category and Best Retained Value Award for Coupes in the $20K?$30K category









The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has named the CR-Z a "2012 Top Safety Pick." IIHS rates vehicles good, acceptable, marginal or poor based on performance in front and side crash tests, a rollover test, and evaluations of seat/head restraints for protection against neck injuries in rear impacts. To earn Top Safety Pick for 2012, a vehicle must have good ratings in all four Institute tests.





 Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com named the 2012 Civic one of the 10 Best Green Cars of 2012. The Civic earned the award from the Trusted Resource^® for delivering outstanding gas mileage along with, "remarkable reliability and exceptional value."

2011 Honda Accolades

The 2011 Honda CR-V, Accord and Fit were given the award for "Best Resale Value" by Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com.

Honda has the great honor of having two of its cars named to Car and Driver's 10 Best Cars list. Both the Accord and Fit boast multiple appearances on this esteemed list. In fact, 2011 marks the 25th time Accord has been included - a record unsurpassed by any other vehicle. And for the Fit, this is the fifth consecutive appearance.

Honda has won the first ever Edmunds.com Best Retained Value Award for Non-Luxury Brands. In addition, four Honda Models was model-level 2011 Edmunds.com Best Retained Value Awards. Having a clear idea about a car's future resale value is an important part of the car-buying process, and Honda is proud to be recognized for how well our vehicles hold their value over time.

Edmunds.com has published its 2011 New Car Buying Guides, and we're pleased to announce that the Fit, Accord Sedan, Odyssey and CR-V have all been named 2011 Edmunds.com Top Recommended vehicles. In addition, the Element was named 2011 Edmunds.com Top Recommended SUV for drivers with mobility challenges.

Both Honda Odyssey and the Fit have captured the 2011 ALG Residual Value Award for their respective segments. The value a car retains over time, should be top-of-mind for and car shopper. James Clark from ALG states, "We continue to believe that residual value is the best metric for evaluating the overall strength of an automotive brand."

Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com has named the 2011 Honda Odyssey the "Best Redesigned Vehicle for 2011" The kbb.com editors praised the Odyssey engineers and designers for successfully tackling the difficult task of improving an already difficult task of improving an already very successful, hot-selling model that is widely regarded as the pinnacle of its class.

Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com, the trusted online automotive resource, has named both the Odyssey  and Accord Crosstour  to their list of "2010 Top Ten Family Cars."

The people have spoken, and once again, the people have said that Honda is the best overall value on the road.  After surveying over 12,000 new-car buyers, Kelley Blue Book [1] gave Honda a 2011 Brand Image Award for Best Value Brand.  We received this prestigious honor after Kelley Blue Book talked to thousands of new-car buyers about their perceptions of various auto manufacturers.

2010 Honda Accolades

Honda Fit and Accord win the Automotive Lease Guide 2010 Best Residual Value Award ALG has honored the Fit and the Accord with the 2010 Best Residual Value Award for the Entry Compact Car and Miz-Size Car segments, respectively.[5] This means that they are both predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price after a conventional three-year period. The winners were determined after careful consideration of segment competition, industry trends and historical vehicle performance. [5] ALG Midsize Car & Entry Compact Car Segment Residual Value Awards are based on highest predicted retained value for models competing in each segment, December 2009.
