Honda Civic 5-Door: Sneak Peak

Honda produces their vehicle lineup in Japan - however, they are testing many models on European soil. Spies on the streets of Offenbach, Germany, caught a glimpse of the ninth generation 2012 Honda Civic during test sessions.

The five-door Civic prototype presents with a smaller body and wheelbase than the current model.

The new Civic was seen near Honda's research and development facility in Offenbach. Honda's Civic seems to maintain its short hood and the rear glass appears to have a steeper pitch.

Honda Civic, Accord Sales Top June 2010

Healthy sales gains for Honda Motor Co. Ltd.'s most popular vehicles helped its U.S. sales grow 6 percent in June, capping a turnaround first half for the Japanese automaker.

The company's Torrance, California based American Honda Motor Co. sales arm reported sales of 106,627 vehicles last month, up from 100,420 the same month a year ago.

The company's flagship division reported a 4% sales gain with 95,788 vehicles sold, while sales of its luxury Acura-division models soared 31 percent to 10,839.
