Honda's Cheapest Hybrid at $18,600

Newspapers in Japan have reported that Honda Motor Co. gave their new hybrid car with a low price of roughly US $18,600, which makes it the cheapest hybrid vehicle in Japan.  Soon, the new Honda Fit Hybrid might just be the most affordable gasoline-electric car in the United States and even the world.

The $18,600 price tag is about $3,500 lower than the Honda Insight, which is currently the cheapest hybrid on the market. The new Fit Hybrid is even $4,600 lower than the conventional, gas powered, Fit.

When a new car is unveiled to the public, the thousands of decisions that went into its conception often get lost in the hullabaloo -- along with the identities of the people who made them,  this according to CNN Money, which took a closer look at the recreation of Honda's Odyssey.

The 2011 Honda Odyssey was revealed to the press in mid-September. The updated minivan has already generated hundreds comment and dozens of blog posts ? this even before it goes on sale at the end of September 2010.

Honda Accord for 2011

The 2011 Honda Accord has given itself a fresher look this season, to compete with its mid-size competition. With a large number of interior and exterior improvements, but will they be enough to keep sales higher than other vehicles?

Honda Civic 5-Door: Sneak Peak

Honda produces their vehicle lineup in Japan - however, they are testing many models on European soil. Spies on the streets of Offenbach, Germany, caught a glimpse of the ninth generation 2012 Honda Civic during test sessions.

The five-door Civic prototype presents with a smaller body and wheelbase than the current model.

The new Civic was seen near Honda's research and development facility in Offenbach. Honda's Civic seems to maintain its short hood and the rear glass appears to have a steeper pitch.
