2011 Honda Civic Type-R

In late 2009, Honda imported 1850 units of its Civic Type-R Euro from Britain. For 2011, the Japanese carmaker will bring only 1500 units of the sports car coupe to sell. Why the cut backs? The Type-R is  produced at Honda's Swindon, UK site - but the engine is coming under some fire overseas - it will be discontinued in most of Europe after this year, beacuse it does not meet the emissions standards.

When a British-built Honda Civic Type-R hit the streets, drivers everywhere loved it. From the company's home base in Japan to the United States, Type-R gained…

The Water Powered Honda

The FCX Clarity is Honda's emissions-free car, the power source is Honda's Solar Hydrogen Station. The solar-powered electrolyzer converts water into oxygen and hydrogen, and is designed for home use.

The stack stands vertically between the FCX's front seats, therefore it does not take up valuable space. It eliminates a major drawback. When the fuel…

2012 Honda Fit Hybrid Goes Driving

The 2012 Honda Fit Hybrid is on sale in Japan, and should be released in the UK early 2011 - where it's better known as the Honda Jazz. The subcompact uses the Insight's 1.3-liter gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system, which drives the hatchback's front wheels and stows its battery pack unit neatly beneath the cargo floor.

Here's what Inside Line has to say about Fit Hybrid: "Once again, it's a simple, efficient engineering solution from Honda, one that sees the Fit Hybrid turn in a high of 30 km per liter…
