Findings of this study show Honda is now positioned second, in terms of initial-quality scores, among all luxury and non-luxury automakers alike - and that they have the most individual segment leaders industry wide.

Five of the notable segment leaders are made in North America. In no particular order, they are the Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Honda Element, Honda Accord Crosstour, and Honda Ridgeline. Two are made overseas: Honda Fit and Honda Insight.

While J.D. Powers and Associate's Initial Quality StudySM for 2011 clearly highlights the unparalleled quality Honda delivers via its all-star lineup, it also calls attention to the superior quality of three different Honda plants.
