The all-new 2011 Honda Odyssey is the ultimate minivan reinvented, re-energized and evolved. With its modern styling, spacious interior, and high-tech features, the new Odyssey almost demands a new category. Although it's available with seating for up to eight passengers (standard on EX and above models), there's nothing "minivan" about the Odyssey's efficient-yet-sporty performance, available 10-way power adjustable heated leather-trimmed front seating, authoritative V-6 acceleration and all the thoughtful engineering you'd expect from a Honda.

Overview:
The 2011 Odyssey is an inch-plus shorter in height than before, but has gained an inch-plus in width, creating a slightly sleeker appearance aided by a wedge-shaped front fascia and unique "lightning-bolt" character line. Aside from being a design flourish, this character line also improves visibility for passengers in the third row of seats, who will also enjoy a greater amount of knee and shoulder room.
New and Unique Features:
The Honda Odyssey is renowned for setting it apart with never-before-seen features, like the Odyssey's flip-and-fold third-row seat, which as become an industry standard. This time around, the 2011 Odyssey introduces a small refrigerated storage compartment beneath the center stack controls, a trash bag holder, second-row seats that shift laterally to make room for child seats and a wide-screen entertainment system with an HDMI input. The 2011 Odyssey also adds an "intelligent" Multi-Information Display (i-MID) with customizable wallpaper, integration of FM traffic data on navigation models and much more. Popular features like the available back-up camera and available conversation mirror continue to be offered.
Significant enhancements to the interior include a new "3-mode" second-row seat design that is more comfortable for center passengers (EX models and above). The 2011 Odyssey is equipped with a total of five LATCH attachment points (four in the Odyssey LX), the most of any vehicle currently available on the market as of 2011 (up from three in the previous model). The one-motion, 60/40 split 3rd-row Magic Seat, one of the Odyssey's original concepts and most versatile features, is positioned for more legroom and is even easier to operate for 2011.

An extensive list of safety equipment comes standard on every 2011 Odyssey. The Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure is a Honda-exclusive body design that enhances occupant protection and crash compatibility in frontal collisions. Additional standard safety equipment includes Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), commonly referred to as electronic stability control; anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist; three-row side-curtain airbags with a rollover sensor; driver's and front passenger's side airbags with passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS); dual-stage, multiple-threshold frontairbags; and active front seat head restraints.
